Vacation therapy 4/28/2008 11:00:56 AM Link | | Add comment I have a close friend who has recently been overwhelmed by work and the everyday things that we have to deal with in life. I keep saying, over and over, "You need a vacation. Take a break." Just by changing your locale, your routine, meeting new people, and getting a fresh perspective on all things, can really make a difference. Now that I think about it, "changes in attitudes, changes in lattitudes" makes alot of sense when Jimmy Buffett sings about it with a Caribbean flair. Picture yourself standing at the rail of a luxury cruise ship, smelling fresh ocean breezes on your face, looking out at the azure blue waves, gazing at the horizen, and holding a cool drink. I can picture myself on a sailing ship of old watching for pirates out on the horizen. If cruising isn't your style, how about sitting under a beach palapa on a white sandy beach, listening to the waves while taking a snooze or reading that novel. All the while, sipping a cool drink! Give it some serious thought about how you spend your vacation time and then call our consultants. They can help you find that right place! | Eat free at Disney! 4/14/2008 3:21:13 PM Link | | Add comment Disney just announced that you can eat free at Disney if you travel during September. With the dining plan, you get one fast food service, one afternoon snack or drink, AND one sit down full service meal. From personal expericen, I know this is a great bargain, especially when you fully prepay this feature and then don't have to worry about running out of money during the trip or what will hit your credit card later when you return home. September is traditionally an off peak period with fewer visitors, so Disney is willing to give some concessions to attract more visitors. Our office is an authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Our consultants can offer some great tips during your planning process. Please call us for the latest pricing to Disney. | We service what we sell... 4/8/2008 3:07:15 PM Link | | Add comment We are very concientious about our work that we do for our customers. We know that your time is valuable and you always want the best for your dollar. We try our very best to make sure that your vacation goes as planned. Sometimes, things go awry before you even leave - such as airlines folding up and closing their doors, leaving you in the lurch. We are here to assist our clients in getting replacement schedules immediately, getting you back on track. This was the case just this past Saturday. I called all of our agents, we met at the office and called all of our clients that were holding tickets. (my 9 year old took over flipping the flapjacks for breakfast - I burned the eggs!) We dove in, found protection space and had them all fixed up! The credit card companies are going to remove the charges off the credit cards. Anyway, we also do the same for our customers that have vacations reserved. We are here in your corner, going to bat for you.
"Take a break, let us plan your vacation!" -BH | Have some assurance with Travel Insurance. 4/4/2008 10:00:49 AM Link | | Add comment Travel protection insurance is more important than you might think.
Just this week, there have been two airlines that ceased operations.
If you have purchased Air Ticket Protector Insurance, you will get a reimbursement equal to the amount of your airline ticket if an airline has ceased operations. Another important aspect is that if you get stranded by your airline, your travel expenses to get home will be reimbursed by the insurance company.
While purchase is optional, our consultants strongly recommend the purchase of insurance if you have to cancel due to covered reasons. A shortlist of reasons are broken bones, illnesses, jury duty, death of a family member, home damaged by fire or flood, and more.
Check our the Travel Insurance link on our website to learn more. You don't have to have purchased your travel with us to purchase the insurance.
BTW, Punta Cana and Cancun have some really great bargains right now during April and May travel. Call us to find out how economical it is to plan a Spring Vacation to the warm waters of the Carribean and Mexico!
Call us now. | Aloha to Aloha Airlines! 4/1/2008 2:34:37 PM Link | | Add comment We say a said Aloha (goodbye) to an airline that serviced the Hawaiian islands for several decades, Aloha Airlines. There are still two other airlines servicing the islands with the island hopping flights, but its always sad to see someone leave. I remember flying this airlines everyday during my first travel agent trip ever to the sunny and friendly islands. My group visited 5 island in 6 days. We never unpacked! Up at dawn, moving on. While the flight was climbing, we would have a drink with their eye opener service, and 15 minutes later, we would descend, and the little Hawaiian flight attendants would collect the cups, roll the cart, strap in and we would be down on the runway. Instead of fast food - drive thru, you could call it "fly thru service". Anyway, we're gonna miss you. Aloha - Bruce | |
