Vacation therapy 4/28/2008 11:00:56 AM Link | | Add comment I have a close friend who has recently been overwhelmed by work and the everyday things that we have to deal with in life. I keep saying, over and over, "You need a vacation. Take a break." Just by changing your locale, your routine, meeting new people, and getting a fresh perspective on all things, can really make a difference. Now that I think about it, "changes in attitudes, changes in lattitudes" makes alot of sense when Jimmy Buffett sings about it with a Caribbean flair. Picture yourself standing at the rail of a luxury cruise ship, smelling fresh ocean breezes on your face, looking out at the azure blue waves, gazing at the horizen, and holding a cool drink. I can picture myself on a sailing ship of old watching for pirates out on the horizen. If cruising isn't your style, how about sitting under a beach palapa on a white sandy beach, listening to the waves while taking a snooze or reading that novel. All the while, sipping a cool drink! Give it some serious thought about how you spend your vacation time and then call our consultants. They can help you find that right place! |
